MOUTH AND UNDER-TONGUE ULCERS: CURASEPT PRODUCTS TO HEAL AND RELIEVE PAIN
Mouth ulcers are the most common lesions of the oral mucosa and in 80% of cases the first ulcer appears before the age of 30.
The spread of this problem can affect up to 60%* of the population. It is estimated that in one fifth of cases the episodes are frequent and repeated over the years.

Predisposing factors:
- Nutritional deficiencies: vitamin B12, folic acid and iron.
- Systemic pathologies: among the most frequent: diabetes, cyclic neutropenia, coeliac disease and some intestinal pathologies.
- Psychological conditions: stress, anxiety, depression.
- Trauma to the mucous membranes: caused by medical manoeuvres, accidental biting, burning food or drink, or traumatic brushing.
- Genetic familiarity: canker sores occur more frequently in households whose family members suffer from these manifestations.
- Allergies and intolerances: allergic reactions triggered by medications and intolerance to certain foods or drinks.
Symptoms:
- Pain and burning spontaneously or during speaking.
- Swelling and pain in nearby lymph nodes.
- Increased salivation.
- Pain and difficulty with chewing with possible loss of appetite.
