Curasept Picks should be considered as a propaedeutic tool for the use of Proxi interdental brushes. While it has demonstrated superior efficacy to other rubber brushes without a spiral, it cannot be considered as a substitute for the Proxi metal-core pipe cleaners because of the sizes available (3 compared to the Proxi’s 16) and the material of the cleaning part (rubber versus nylon bristles).
