Curasept S.p.A. is an Italian company entirely focused on Oral Health, a field in which it is the market leader thanks to two decades of commitment to research and development aimed at creating functional, reliable and innovative solutions for chemical and mechanical oral hygiene.
Founded in 2001, it has approximately 300 employees and collaborators in Italy, several research centres and its products are distributed in 40 countries through a network of distribution partners.
Since its foundation, the company has worked alongside Dentists, Hygienists and Pharmacists in promoting innovative techniques and tools to address masticatory system disorders and, at the same time, supporting patients and consumers with a comprehensive range of solutions for daily dental prevention and care to meet every need.

Collaboration with prestigious Italian Universities
Curasept collaborates with prestigious Italian universities, including the University of Milan Bicocca, Naples, Turin, Pavia, Genoa in which it organizes training courses and is involved in numerous scientific studies and exclusive partnerships for the design and production of solutions in the field of Oral Care.
DISTRIBUTION
The distribution of Curasept products and solutions takes place through pharmacies or through dental distributors, guaranteeing a clear choice of maximum quality and reliability. To date, there are more than 35,000 Italian dental facilities that work with Curasept and it is distributed in 99.1% of pharmacies. Abroad, Curasept is present in 40 countries on 4 continents.
OUR NAME
The name of the company Curasept comes from “Sept” – originally linked to the first product, unique on the market, anti-plaque (antiseptic) Chlorhexidine ADS – and “Cura” (meaning “cure”), initially referring to the product. Today the name reflects the company mission, understood as daily presence and support for people and professionals in the sector.
Curasept operates with the desire to create and strengthen positive relationships between people, raising awareness about the importance of oral health, both for its impact on overall health and for the central role a smile plays in relationships with others.
Health, care and well-being are the cornerstones on which the work and research that Curasept has been undertaking for years is based to develop the most authentic, innovative and high-quality solutions in the field of oral hygiene. STORY
Curasept S.p.A. was founded in 2001 with the aim of creating functional, reliable and innovative solutions in the world of chemical and mechanical oral hygiene. Curasept became a strong point of reference for Oral Care thanks to the design, development and patent of one of the first innovations in the sector, the Chlorhexidine with Anti-Discoloration System (ADS), a system that revolutionized the sector, establishing a new Gold Standard. The system allows the use of preparations based on Chlorhexidine without the risk of discoloration of the teeth, one of its side effects that had been well known until then.
Thanks to this innovation, in 2005, Curasept has become a product leader in the Chlorhexidine market in Italian pharmacies. This leadership is now reaffirmed thanks to new patented formulations that combine Chlorhexidine, which has anti-plaque and antibacterial properties, with the action of DNA, a cellular bio-activator (DNA-ADS system).
